What is CVE-2025-5508?

A Cross Site Scripting vulnerability exists in the IP Port Filtering Page of the TOTOLINK A3002RU router (version 2.1.1-B20230720.1011). This security flaw allows an attacker to manipulate the 'Comment' parameter, leading to the execution of malicious scripts in the context of the user's browser. The exploitation of this vulnerability can be performed remotely, creating significant risks for users. Despite early notifications about this issue, the vendor has not responded adequately to address the concern.
