What is CVE-2025-55207?
The Astro web framework exhibits an Open Redirect vulnerability in specific deployment scenarios prior to version 9.4.1. Despite previous patching efforts addressing related vulnerabilities, the issue persists when using the Node deployment adapter in standalone mode with the trailingSlash parameter set to 'always'. This flaw can lead users to be redirected to external domains by clicking specially crafted links, which can result in credential theft, malware distribution, or phishing attacks. The vulnerability has been remedied in version 9.4.1.
