What is CVE-2025-55522?

Akaunting version 3.1.18 contains a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the /common/reports component that could enable attackers to execute arbitrary web scripts or inject malicious HTML content. By manipulating the name parameter, an attacker can craft a payload that, when executed by a victim's browser, compromises the security of the application and potentially exposes sensitive user data.
