What is CVE-2025-58073?
An authorization bypass vulnerability exists in Mattermost that allows unauthorized users to join any team on a Mattermost server by manipulating the OAuth state. The flaw arises from the application failing to properly verify whether a user has permission to use the original invite token. As a result, attackers can exploit this weakness, potentially gaining unfettered access to sensitive team communications and collaboration spaces.
