What is CVE-2025-5864?

A vulnerability exists in the Tenda TDSEE App (version 1.7.12 and earlier) within the Password Reset Confirmation Code Handler. This flaw allows for improper restriction on the number of authentication attempts, potentially enabling remote attackers to exploit the application. Although the complexity required to execute this attack is high and may prove challenging, public disclosures regarding exploit techniques have surfaced, increasing the risk of attempted exploits. Users are advised to update to version 1.7.15 or later to mitigate this risk effectively.
