What is CVE-2025-59158?
Coolify, a self-hosted tool for managing servers and applications, suffers from a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in its project creation workflow. This flaw allows an authenticated user with minimal privileges to create a project name that includes malicious JavaScript code. When an administrator attempts to delete this project, the embedded script executes in their browser, potentially leading to unauthorized actions or data exposure. Users are advised to upgrade to version 4.0.0-beta.420.7, which includes a fix for this vulnerability.
