Arbitrary File Injection in Linkr by Mohmmd Zain
CVE-2025-59334
What is CVE-2025-59334?
Linkr is a lightweight file delivery system that fails to verify the integrity of .linkr manifest files prior to use, enabling attackers to manipulate these files and inject malicious entries. This vulnerability permits the download of unauthorized files from untrusted sources, posing risks such as remote code execution. The issue is addressed in version 2.0.1, which implements a manifest integrity check by comparing checksums. Users are encouraged to upgrade and exercise caution by only using trusted .linkr manifests while manually verifying their integrity.
