P2P File Distribution System Vulnerability in Dragonfly by Dragonfly OSS
CVE-2025-59347
2.7LOW
What is CVE-2025-59347?
The vulnerability in Dragonfly, an open source P2P file distribution and image acceleration system, allows attackers to exploit the lack of TLS certificate verification in HTTP clients. Prior to version 2.1.0, clients are unable to re-enable verification, exposing the system to Man-in-the-Middle attacks. Attackers can inject false data during preheat jobs handled by the Manager, leading to potential denial of service and file integrity issues. This critical flaw has been addressed in version 2.1.0.
