What is CVE-2025-59540?

Chamilo Learning Management System is susceptible to a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that affects staff accounts. This weakness allows malicious users to execute arbitrary JavaScript code in the browsers of higher-privileged admin users due to improper encoding of feedback input on the exercise history page. Consequently, any malicious script can be saved in the database and executed when the affected page is accessed. It is critical for organizations using Chamilo LMS to update to version 1.11.34 or later to mitigate this risk.
