What is CVE-2025-59543?

The Chamilo Learning Management System prior to version 1.11.34 is vulnerable to a stored cross-site scripting attack. This flaw allows an attacker, even with low privileges, to inject malicious JavaScript code into course descriptions. When other users view the affected course, including those with administrative rights, the injected script can execute in their browsers, enabling the attacker to steal sensitive session cookies or tokens. This poses a significant risk of account takeover for higher-privileged users. The vulnerability has been addressed and patched in version 1.11.34.
