What is CVE-2025-59820?

In KDE Krita versions prior to 5.2.13, a vulnerability exists in the processing of TGA files that leads to a heap-based buffer overflow. Specifically, this flaw arises when a manipulated TGA file is loaded, causing certain pixel values to become negative. This disruption can compromise the application's control flow, potentially enabling an attacker to exploit the issue.
