What is CVE-2025-60471?

A use-after-free vulnerability exists in the gf_filter_pid_reconfigure_task_discard function within the filter_core module of GPAC Project's MP4Box prior to version 26.02.0. This flaw allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by supplying specially crafted media files that exploit improper memory handling, leading to potential system crashes or instability.
