What is CVE-2025-60487?

The GPAC MP4Box prior to version 2.5 is prone to a segmentation violation in the gf_isom_get_esd function located in isom_read.c. This vulnerability allows attackers to craft a malicious XML file that, when processed by MP4Box, can trigger a Denial of Service. This type of attack can disrupt service availability and potentially impact users reliant on this software for multimedia processing.
