Stack Buffer Overflow Vulnerability in ToToLink Routers
CVE-2025-60684
What is CVE-2025-60684?
A stack buffer overflow vulnerability has been identified in the firmware of ToToLink LR1200GB and NR1800X routers. This security flaw exists in the cstecgi.cgi binary, specifically within the sub_42F32C function. The web interface processes the 'lang' parameter and constructs Help URL strings using sprintf(), which does not validate the length of the input properly. By sending specially crafted input, an attacker could exploit this flaw, leading to potential arbitrary code execution or memory corruption. Importantly, this vulnerability can be exploited without any authentication.
