What is CVE-2025-61983?
A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the TP-Link Archer AX53 router, specifically in the tmpserver modules. This issue allows authenticated adjacent attackers to potentially disrupt service by causing a segmentation fault or even executing arbitrary code. The vulnerability is triggered by the receipt of specially crafted network packets that contain a significant number of fields with zero-length values, effectively exploiting the buffer overflow condition.
