What is CVE-2025-62243?
The vulnerability identified in Liferay Portal versions 7.4.1 to 7.4.3.112 and Liferay DXP releases 2023.Q4.0 to 2023.Q4.5, allows remote authenticated users to exploit insecure direct object references. This weakness enables unauthorized access to publication comments, as proper user permission checks are not enforced. Attackers can manipulate the URL to view and even edit comments on publications, potentially compromising sensitive information and disrupting content management activities.
