What is CVE-2025-62252?

A vulnerability exists in Liferay Portal versions 7.4.0 through 7.4.3.111, as well as older unsupported versions, and in Liferay DXP releases from 2023.Q3 to 2023.Q4. This flaw allows remote authenticated users across different virtual instances to manipulate the assignment of organizations to users through improper handling of user IDs in the users admin portlet. This could enable unauthorized access or modification of user data, raising significant security concerns for organizations leveraging these platforms.
