ClipBucket v5 is an open-source video-sharing platform that suffers from a significant vulnerability allowing arbitrary PHP code execution due to improper sanitization of the 'type' parameter in the /upload/admin_area/actions/update_launch.php file. This flaw enables attackers to inject malicious PHP code via POST requests, leading potentially to remote code execution. The issue impacts all versions prior to 5.5.2 #147, where it has been addressed through a critical update.
