What is CVE-2025-63589?

CMSimple_XH 1.8 is susceptible to a reflected XSS vulnerability due to improper sanitization of attacker-controlled path segments in the index.php router. When these unsanitized inputs are reflected in HTML elements such as navigation links and breadcrumbs, it can lead to arbitrary JavaScript execution in the browsers of users who visit a crafted URL. This vulnerability exposes users to a range of security risks, including data theft and session hijacking.
