Stored XSS in ClipBucket Video Sharing Platform Affects User Data and Admin Functionality

What is CVE-2025-64338?
ClipBucket, an open-source video sharing platform, is susceptible to Stored XSS vulnerabilities in versions 5.5.2 - #156 and below. Authenticated users can exploit this flaw by creating photo collections with names that include HTML and JavaScript payloads. This payload is rendered unsafely within the Manage Photos feature of the admin interface, allowing malicious scripts to execute within the browser of an administrator. Consequently, this enables attackers to perform unauthorized actions with elevated privileges. The issue has been resolved in version 5.5.2 - #157.
