What is CVE-2025-64489?
SuiteCRM, an open-source Customer Relationship Management software, has a vulnerability that enables privilege escalation due to a flaw in session management. When a user account is deactivated, their session remains active, allowing unauthorized users to retain access to the application. This vulnerability permits deactivated users to reactivate their accounts without administrative consent, thereby circumventing security protocols and leading to potential data breaches. Versions 7.14.8 and 8.9.1 contain necessary patches to mitigate this issue.
