What is CVE-2025-65097?
The RomM application, designed for managing and playing game collections, exhibits a significant access control vulnerability. Authenticated users can exploit this flaw to delete collections owned by other users without any ownership checks. This oversight allows for the unauthorized removal of sensitive user data, compromising the security and integrity of users' collections. The issue has been addressed in the updates 4.4.1 and 4.4.1-beta.2, which enforce proper ownership verification prior to deletion actions.
