What is CVE-2025-65559?

A vulnerability in Open5GS 2.7.5-49-g465e90f exists where the processing of a PFCP Session Establishment Request can lead to a denial of service. Specifically, if the CreatePDR?PDI?F-TEID field has the CH flag set to 1 and the address-family flags (IPv4/IPv6) do not align with the configured GTP-U resource family for the selected DNN, it may cause the UPF to crash due to an assertion failure in the lib/pfcp/context.c file.
