Sensitive Information Exposure in Sentry-Javascript SDK by Sentry
CVE-2025-65944
What is CVE-2025-65944?
The Sentry-Javascript SDK allows Node.js applications to collect error tracking data. Versions from 10.11.0 up to 10.26.0 contain a vulnerability where enabling the 'sendDefaultPii' option can inadvertently transmit sensitive HTTP headers, such as the Cookie header, to Sentry's servers. This exposure permits unauthorized individuals with access to the Sentry organization to retrieve sensitive information, potentially leading to privilege escalation or impersonation attacks within the application. A patch for this vulnerability is available in version 10.27.0.
