What is CVE-2025-66209?

Coolify, an open-source tool for server management, is impacted by a command injection vulnerability in its Database Backup feature. Before version 4.0.0-beta.451, authenticated users with appropriate permissions could exploit this flaw to run arbitrary commands on the server. The vulnerability arises from the lack of input sanitization regarding database names used in backup operations, allowing attackers to gain root access and execute unauthorized commands remotely. Users are encouraged to upgrade to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
