What is CVE-2025-66449?
ConvertX, a self-hosted online file converter, contains a vulnerability in its upload endpoint that allows an authenticated user to upload files with non-sanitized names. This flaw enables the overwrite of critical system binaries, leading to potential code execution by an attacker. Users are advised to upgrade to version 0.16.0 or later, where this issue has been addressed.
