Password Reset Vulnerability in LaraDashboard Affects Laravel Applications
CVE-2025-66509
8.9HIGH
What is CVE-2025-66509?
In versions of LaraDashboard prior to 2.3.0, a security misconfiguration in the password reset functionality allows attackers to exploit the Host header. This oversight enables attackers to redirect reset tokens to their own servers, potentially leading to unauthorized access. Furthermore, the vulnerability can be leveraged alongside the module installation process to execute arbitrary PHP code through the ServiceProvider::boot() method, escalating the risk of compromise significantly.
