What is CVE-2025-6654?
This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on installations of PDF-XChange Editor by exploiting a flaw in PRC file parsing. The issue arises due to insufficient validation of user-supplied data, leading to potential buffer overruns. An attacker can trigger this vulnerability when a user interacts with a malicious webpage or opens a malicious PRC file, enabling the execution of code in the user’s context.
