What is CVE-2025-66581?

The Frappe Learning Management System (LMS) prior to version 2.41.0 contains a server-side authorization flaw that allows authenticated users to perform unauthorized actions across multiple features. This is due to a reliance on client-side and UI-level checks, rather than enforcing permissions through server-side controls. Consequently, users with lower privileges, such as students, can exploit this vulnerability through API calls, accessing functions intended solely for instructors or administrators. This flaw has been addressed in version 2.41.0.
