What is CVE-2025-67091?

A command injection vulnerability has been identified in the GL.Inet AX1800 router firmware versions 4.6.4 and 4.6.8. This vulnerability arises from the opkg-call script located at /usr/libexec/opkg-call, which is executed with root privileges when accessed through the LuCI web interface or authenticated API calls aimed at managing packages. The code within this script incorrectly employs shell redirection, leading to the creation of a lock file in the insecure, world-writable /tmp directory, potentially allowing unauthorized users to execute arbitrary commands on the system.
