What is CVE-2025-6732?
A significant buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the UTT HiPER 840G API due to improper handling of the 'passwd1' argument within the 'strcpy' function located in the '/goform/setSysAdm' file. This flaw potentially allows remote attackers to manipulate the system, leading to unauthorized access or control over the affected device. The vulnerability affects all versions of the HiPER 840G API up to and including 3.1.1-190328. Although the vendor has been informed of the issue, there has been no public response regarding a fix or mitigation measures.
