What is CVE-2025-67496?

The WeGIA Web Manager for Institutions contains a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in versions 3.5.4 and earlier. This flaw resides in the /WeGIA/html/geral/configurar_senhas.php endpoint, where user-controlled data is not properly sanitized before being rendered on the page. Specifically, employee names are retrieved from the database and injected into HTML elements directly, allowing potential attackers to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the context of users' browsers. This issue has been resolved in version 3.5.5, which implements necessary sanitization measures to prevent such attacks.
