What is CVE-2025-68953?

A path traversal vulnerability exists in the Frappe web application framework, affecting versions 14.99.5 and earlier as well as versions 15.0.0 to 15.80.1. This flaw allows attackers to exploit improper sanitization on certain requests to access arbitrary files on the server. As a mitigation technique, it is advised to use a reverse proxy. Users are encouraged to update to fixed versions 14.99.6 and 15.88.1 to enhance security.
