What is CVE-2025-69285?

A missing authentication vulnerability exists in SQLBot, a data query system. This flaw affects versions of SQLBot prior to 1.5.0 and specifically targets the /api/v1/datasource/uploadExcel endpoint. An unauthenticated attacker could exploit this vulnerability to upload arbitrary Excel/CSV files, potentially injecting malicious data directly into the PostgreSQL database. The method by which files are processed circumvents standard token validation due to a misconfiguration in the authentication whitelist. The issue has since been resolved in version 1.5.0, and no workarounds are available for earlier versions.
