CVE-2025-69431
6.1MEDIUM
What is CVE-2025-69431?
The ZSPACE Q2C NAS is vulnerable due to incorrect handling of symbolic links, allowing attackers to exploit this flaw. By formatting a USB drive as ext4 and creating a symbolic link to its root directory, an attacker can insert the USB drive into the NAS device. This manipulation enables access to the USB drive's directory mounted on the NAS via the Samba protocol, permitting unauthorized retrieval and modification of files stored within the NAS system.
