An authorization flaw in GitHub Enterprise Server permits unauthorized read access to content within internal repositories for contractor accounts. This issue arises when the Contractors API feature is enabled, a feature typically in rare usage as it exists in private preview. The vulnerability impacts all versions of GitHub Enterprise Server released prior to version 3.18, requiring users to update to versions 3.14.15, 3.15.10, 3.16.6, or 3.17.3 for resolution.
