What is CVE-2025-70328?

The TOTOLINK X6000R router exhibits a vulnerability within its NTPSyncWithHost handler, which allows authenticated attackers to exploit the lack of input sanitization. Specifically, while the initial tokens of the input are validated, the subsequent string can contain shell metacharacters that lead to arbitrary command execution. This flaw poses a significant risk, enabling attackers to gain unauthorized access to the system using crafted inputs, thus compromising the security of the device.
