Token Validation Flaw in ForgeRock Client Exposes Protected Resources
CVE-2025-7043

5.4MEDIUM

What is CVE-2025-7043?

The ForgeRock client is affected by a vulnerability that allows refresh tokens to be misused as valid access tokens without proper validation. This flaw occurs due to the failure to enforce necessary security protocols that require valid client credentials for the exchange of refresh tokens to obtain new access tokens. Consequently, an attacker with access to a valid refresh token can bypass essential security measures and gain unauthorized access to protected resources, undermining the integrity of the system's access control mechanisms.
