What is CVE-2025-7239?
The IrfanView CADImage Plugin has a vulnerability in the parsing of DWG files that allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. This flaw is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied data during the DWG file parsing process, leading to a potential memory corruption scenario. To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker must trick a user into visiting a malicious webpage or opening a crafted file. Successful exploitation of this issue enables the attacker to execute code within the context of the affected application.
