What is CVE-2025-7324?

The IrfanView CADImage Plugin has a vulnerability that allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by exploiting improper validation in the parsing of DXF files. This security flaw occurs due to a read past the end of an allocated buffer, which can enable an attacker to execute code within the context of the current process. To exploit this vulnerability, user interaction is necessary, as it requires the victim to either visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.
