What is CVE-2025-7519?

A flaw exists in Polkit that allows for an out-of-bounds write when processing XML policies that have 32 or more nested elements. This flaw may result in application crashes or abnormal software behavior. While arbitrary code execution cannot be ruled out entirely, exploiting this vulnerability necessitates a high-privilege account to correctly place the malicious policy file for it to be activated.
