What is CVE-2025-7972?

A vulnerability exists within the FactoryTalk Linx Network Browser that permits attackers to bypass crucial FTSP token validation. By altering the 'process.env.NODE_ENV' environment variable to 'development', an attacker can disable security measures, granting unauthorized access to create, update, and delete FactoryTalk Linx drivers. This flaw poses serious risks to the integrity and security of networked systems utilizing this software.
