What is CVE-2025-7992?
A vulnerability exists in Ashlar-Vellum Cobalt's AR file parsing function, which fails to validate user-supplied data adequately. This flaw could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code on systems running affected versions of Cobalt. To successfully exploit this vulnerability, an attacker must convince the user to visit a malicious webpage or open a compromised AR file, leading to potential unauthorized access and control over the affected system.
