What is CVE-2025-9317?

The vulnerability allows unauthorized users with read access to the Edge Project files or Edge Offline Cache files to exploit weak password hashing mechanisms. By conducting computational brute-force attacks, malicious actors can reverse-engineer the app-native or Active Directory passwords of Edge users, potentially compromising sensitive data and security.
