What is CVE-2026-0203?
An improper handling of exceptional conditions vulnerability in the packet processing of Juniper Networks Junos OS allows unauthenticated network-adjacent attackers to send specifically malformed ICMP packets. Upon receipt, these packets can cause the Flow Processing Component (FPC) to crash and restart, resulting in a denial of service. This vulnerability affects only ICMPv4 packets, limiting the attack surface to adjacent networks, as upstream routers do not forward malformed packets.
