What is CVE-2026-0482?

In AMD Versal™ Adaptive SoC devices, a vulnerability exists due to insufficient boundary checks in USB boot mode when modified at the board level. This flaw allows crafted images to trigger a buffer overflow, potentially overwriting an active function pointer. The exploitation of this vulnerability during the boot process may result in arbitrary code execution, affecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the device.
