What is CVE-2026-0651?

A path traversal vulnerability exists in the TP-Link Tapo C260 v1, where improper handling of specific GET request paths via HTTPS allows local unauthenticated users to probe the filesystem. An attacker on the same local network may be able to verify the existence of files on the device, but is unable to read, write, or execute code as a result of this flaw. This vulnerability highlights the need for improved path validation to prevent unauthorized filesystem access.
