What is CVE-2026-0838?

A security flaw has been identified in the UTT 进取 520W version 1.7.7-180627, specifically within the strcpy function used in the /goform/ConfigWirelessBase file. This vulnerability allows for exploitation through a buffer overflow when the ssid argument is manipulated. As a consequence, attackers can execute remote attacks, posing significant risks to network security. Despite the responsible disclosure to the vendor, there was no response, raising further concerns regarding the urgency of remediation and the safety of users.
