What is CVE-2026-0858?

Certain versions of PlantUML prior to 1.2026.0 are exposed to a Stored XSS vulnerability stemming from inadequate sanitization of interactive attributes in GraphViz diagrams. This flaw permits an attacker to craft a PlantUML diagram that injects malicious JavaScript into the generated SVG output. If rendered within affected applications, this can result in the execution of arbitrary scripts, potentially compromising user data and application integrity.
