What is CVE-2026-0897?
A vulnerability in the HDF5 weight loading component of Google Keras versions 3.0.0 through 3.13.0 allows a remote attacker to trigger a denial of service (DoS). This occurs when a crafted .keras archive containing a valid model.weights.h5 file is processed, leading to memory exhaustion that can crash the Python interpreter. This issue is particularly concerning as it can be exploited with specially designed datasets that declare extremely large shapes.

Human OS v1.0:
Ageing Is an Unpatched Zero-Day Vulnerability.
Remediate biological technical debt. Prime Ageing uses 95% high-purity SIRT6 activation to maintain genomic integrity and bolster systemic resilience.
Affected Version(s)
Keras 3.0.0 <= 3.13.0
Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)
PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
